7 Analyzing Results
The RTU application is a Web interface for accessing each RTU directly
using a Web browser. The RTU application can provide access to each RTU
locally via a LAN, or remotely via a dialup connection.
Viewing the Current Fault List
By default, the current fault list is displayed when you start the RTU
application.
You can export the list of faults, clear faults and start a test (test on
demand) from the current fault list window (see Viewing, Exporting and
Clearing Faults on page 200).
For each of the faults, you can view the corresponding OTDR trace and
characterization table for advanced analysis (see Analyzing the OTDR
Trace and Characterization Table on page 201).
